“It took us almost 4 years of intensive detailed work to develop the JARDIM collection to the point where we really feel comfortable with it.
I wanted to work with a new Portuguese ceramic body that evokes the dark red-brown colour of the Alentejo soil. At the same time, the fired body had to be very robust and absolutely suitable for catering.
We found a great partner in Portugal who could process this red clay and fire it at high temperatures. At the same time, we found a way to realise our very purist and strict design language in a very beautiful joint creative process.
We all fell in love with the wonderful colour glaze possibilities and the Portuguese ceramic colour tradition. Jardim- The colours of the Portuguese late summer.
